ABOUT ERIC TAYLOR

Eric Taylor is an internationally renowned commercial and editorial photographer and author, born in New Zealand in 1952. He began his photographic career in Auckland, establishing his credentials and professional reputation through the publication of several photographic books, including the iconic and award-winning This Land of Light and Volcanic New Zealand by Oxford University Press in 1982 and 1983, respectively. He also published Auckland with William Collins in 1985.

Based in Brisbane until 2015, Taylor worked as a professional photographer in the mining and corporate sectors, contributing his photographs to annual reports and corporate publications. He also served as the Queensland correspondent for Bloomberg News Asia from 2007 to 2015.
